Love Island Casa Amor’s most brutal dumpings – including most complained about moment ever and star's iconic putdown | The Sun

LOVE Island fans are reeling after one of the most savage nights in the show's history saw SIX stars booted out of the villa.

Following a shock recoupling, three Casa Amor girls and three boys were shown the door last night – while several OGs were also left single in the brutal shake-up.

From Love Island's most complained about moment ever to Curtis Pritchard's infamous admission to a heartbroken Amy, the ultimate relationship test has provided no shortage of drama over the years.

As the villa reels from the latest fallout, we take a look back at the most unforgettable Casa Amor moments of all time.

Faye and Teddy

In 2021, producers came under fire for sending Faye Winter snaps of her beau Teddy Soares kissing bombshell Clarisse Juliette during a game.

It led to Faye recoupling and Teddy standing on his own with her stuffed animal – which he took to Casa Amor – in hand.

Faye was further enraged when she was shown clips of Teddy's time in Casa Amor, including a chat with Clarisse where he declared himself "technically single".

Feeling slighted, she went on a tirade where she took on Teddy, using the F-word 57 times.

She fumed: "I don't want to speak to you because you look like a twofaced p****. Now f*** off."

Her behaviour prompted 25,000 complaints to Ofcom, making her the most complained about Islander.

Although they managed to patch things up and ended up in third place, they sadly announced their split earlier this year.

Indiyah and Dami

When Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack recoupled with Summer Botwe and Deji Adeniyi respectively, it made for one of the most painful – and awkward – moments of the 2022 series.

During Casa Amor, Dami's head was almost immediately turned by Summer, while Indiyah got to know Deji.

It resulted in a tense exchange between the former couple, with Indiyah uttering the now-famous words: "May the best heartbreaker win."

As the show went on, they realised they were meant to be and ditched their partners to recouple with each other.

Amber and Kem

Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay's relationship in the 2017 series went through a lot of ups and downs.

By the time Casa Amor began, there was a huge lack of trust between the pair and they decided to get to know other people.

While Amber got into a friendship couple with newbie Nathan Joseph, Kem started a new romance with Chyna Ellis and took her into the main villa.

While Amber was distraught, it was a furious Olivia Attwood who delivered some harsh home truths.

She told him: "You’re my brother but I’ve got to be honest, I spent two days with Amber and when you left she was absolutely gutted.

"You said before you left you wanted to end it but you have said it several times before then gone back on it… The postcard came through and the big picture on it is of you and this girl kissing so you can imagine that she was in bits.

"I was angry, I’ve got to be honest.”

Eventually, the pair ended up back together and even went on to win the series.

Tasha and Andrew

Fans would be forgiven for struggling to keep up with Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page's saga in the 2022 series.

The biggest test in their rollercoaster relationship came during Casa Amor, when Andrew got intimate with Coco Lodge and Tasha kissed Billy Brown.

The pair chose to recouple and Tasha was accused by a furious Andrew of being "fake" and telling "more lies than Pinocchio", after the new girls suggested she had been slagging him off.

Defending herself, she furiously yelled: 'The Casa girls can f*** off!"

Having reunited on the show, the pair are still together and opened up to The Sun earlier this year on the challenges of Casa Amor.

Andrew said: "The hardest part of Casa Amor is not knowing how our partner is doing and whether they're getting to know someone else.

"It's a really hard situation and you have to throw yourselves at it."

Amy and Curtis

During Casa Amor in 2017, Curtis Pritchard got to know bombshell Jourdan Riane but decided to walk back into the villa as a single man.

While he was initially praised for this, he ended up as the bad guy when he admitted that his head had been turned by Jourdan.

Distraught, his girl Amy Hart revealed that she had been ready to declare her love, before questioning why he seemed to show so little interest in snuggling up with her in the morning.

It led to one of the show's most iconic lines as he replied: “I know, and I also want to be the person who gets up and makes everyone a coffee so everyone’s ready for the morning.”

Millie and Liam

When it comes to explosive Casa Amor moments, very few compare to the awkwardness of Millie Court finding out the truth about her man, Liam Reardon in 2021.

When he returned single from his time away, Millie was over the moon that he had been faithful – unbeknownst to her that he had been getting frisky with Lillie Haynes.

Astonished that she was shunned by Liam, Lillie decided to spill all about Liam's Casa Amor antics in front of the other Islanders.

Millie was furious, saying: "F*** off, are you joking? Kissing outside a challenge? That's f***ing disgusting.

"I sat there so happy and then it just switched… the happiest I'd been in days to crying. Knew I shouldn't have trusted him. He's fake."

She later added: "I don't know if I can come back from that, I'm not going to lie."

After a lot of grovelling apologies from Liam, Millie did come back, however, and they went on to win the series.

Amber and Michael

Fans were left furious when Michael Griffiths came back to the main villa with Joanna Chimonides on his arm in the 2019 series.

His girl, Amber Gill, and other Islanders were not too pleased either, with his decision causing utter mayhem in the villa.

Sticking up for her girl, Anna Vakili, who has gone down as one of the fieriest contestants on the show, decided to pull Michael to give him a dressing down.

The conversation turned explosive pretty quickly with Michael repeatedly calling Anna "pathetic" as he stormed off away from her.

Shaughna and Callum

Shaughna Phillips thought her pairing with Callum Jones was secure and chose to wait for him to return from Casa Amor.

Little did she know that he had other plans when he met Molly Smith in the second villa and had chosen to recouple with her.

When Shaughna was left single upon his return, she famously quipped: "I’m happy for Callum. I should have never trusted a scaffolder anyway."

It probably all worked out for the best as Shaughna has now given birth to her first child and Callum and Molly are still together.

Megan and Wes

When Megan Barton-Hanson walked into the villa as a bombshell in 2018, she quickly made a beeline for Wes Nelson and stole him from Laura Anderson.

But during Casa Amor, she was charmed by model Alex Miller and decided to recouple with him.

During the reunion episode, she declared: "If Wes comes back alone, I’m absolutely f***ed" – that's exactly what ended up happening.

The savage twist left Wes speechless but they did get back together and went all the way to the final.

Georgia and Josh

Viewers were moved to tears after Georgia Steel was dumped by Josh Denzel as he returned from Casa Amor and recoupled with new girl Kazimir Crossley.

In the 2018 episode, Georgia could be seen shaking, as she muttered: “Come on, Josh,” while her fellow contestants looked equally tense as they waited to find out.

As he walked back into the garden of the show's main villa hand-in-hand with Kazimir, Samira Mighty held her head in her hands and Dani Dyer raised her hand up to her forehead in shock.

Georgia was visibly seething as she declared: “He’s f***ed it man, he’s f***ed it,” before adding: “How f***ing dare you man.”

Looking over to him, she whispered: “Why would you do that to me?” before turning away and taking deep breaths as she appeared to hold back tears.

An astounded Caroline Flack asked Georgia how she felt after hearing what Josh had said, prompting her to say: “I was loyal to you, my God. I stood by you, Josh."

Gabby and Marcel

When producers showed pictures of the villa boys in bed with other girls in the first-ever Casa Amor, their partners were left fuming.

Gabby Allen in particular was unamused with the fact that her man Marcel Sommerville had not only shared a bed with a girl but had locked lips with Shannen McGrath twice.
