Love Island chaos as crew are forced to stop filming and stars are shut in villa

Production of Love Island has been thrown into disarray with filming halted – meaning the contestants have all been forced to stay inside the villa.

Due to torrential rain in South Africa, where the winter version of the show is set, the show was forced to be cancelled and the singletons were under strict instructions to stay inside.

Previously filming had to be stopped due to high winds, with a source calling the African country’s weather a “nightmare”.

“It isn’t ideal for the producers as what viewers want to see is the sexy stars in their bikinis lounging by the pool – not sitting around inside," the source told The Sun.

The source went on to say that the storm passed and the weather forecast is looking much better for the next few days.

Meanwhile, Love Island's Abigail Rawlings, from the 2019 series, exclusively revealed to the Daily Star that she went back to her passion of tattooing after leaving the ITV villa.

The series seven star is an incredibly talented tattoo artist with clients from all over the UK.

Abigail, 28, said: "It's the same like as if you think about if you have a certain dress with a pattern on, and it has like an illusion in an area

"Then it can make you look more you have a smaller waist.

"It's just doing that but translating it to tattoos and if you do it in a certain way you can snatch bits and make your bum look peachier.

"You can just help with the canvas that you've got and you can add to it and it's really fun and I love doing it."

The star also revealed she suffered a sexy major wardrobe malfunction while on the show.

Talking about how show bosses would try to prevent any naked scenes by telling Islanders off, Abigail said: "I mean girls did it anyway. I think they would just say don't because it's annoying for them if they miss anything as we would just chitchat all the time.

She added: "But I do get it, I remember I was sitting doing my makeup once and I had my towel and it just fell down a little bit.

It's all girls so it doesn't really matter but over the speaker, they were like 'Abi, can you put your towel on properly please?' And I was like 'Oops, sorry'.
