Love Island fans were left convinced newcomer Coco Lodge isn’t interested in Andrew Le Page romantically, after an awkward chat aired on Tuesday night’s episode.
Coco and Andrew could be seen discussing their relationship as the brunette bombshell laid the charm on thick with Andrew, who was coupled up with Tasha Ghouri in the main villa before Casa Amor.
While discussing the night before, Coco claimed it was “really hard to control” herself, as she and Andrew cuddled up together in bed.
Yet rather than dismiss the affection, Andrew actively welcomed it and even compared her favourably to his relationship so far with Tasha, as he explained “Tasha’s nothing like that,” before confessing he preferred Coco.
So far, viewers have already seen the two stars lock lips, and get more than a little handsy with each other, but many fans at home are claiming that Coco’s advances aren’t sincere and have instead accused the new villa entrant of “playing the game” in the hopes of securing her place in the main villa.
“I get the vibe that Coco isn’t into Andrew. She knows he’s an easy target for a 1 way ticket into the villa,” wrote one fan.
While another commented: “The fact that Andrew is still a mug because Coco would literally couple up with anyone to stay in the villa.”
A third fan also agreed, tweeting: “Coco is definitely seeing a way into the Villa with Andrew.”
Before a fourth weighed in as they said: “bruh it's so obvious that Coco is really not as interested in Andrew as he is in her… he needs to get a grip and stop listening to what his boys are saying to him.”
Despite the opinion of those watching at home, Andrew appeared to be receptive to all of the bombshells charms, as the two flirtatiously played together in the pool later in the episode, before engaging in a smooching session at the poolside.
They were also spotted chatting again beside the fire pit later in the evening, with Coco happily draping her legs over Andrew as she laid her cards on the table and told him she was interested in nobody else.
This proved too much for some fans to handle at home, with several even deeming the flirtation to be “cringeworthy” and “painful to watch.”
“Andrew mate, it’s one week! I know it’s tough but this is cringe to watch,” wrote one fan.
While another asking: “Am I the only one cringing at this?”
