Love Island stars’ surgery transformations – from boob jobs and botox to filler

It’s no secret that getting ready for Love Island takes some series legwork.

From topping up the tan to getting a last minute wax, plenty of effort goes into the Love Island star’s appearances before entering the ITV mansion.

And who can blame them for putting in a little extra effort when Mr or Mrs Right could be waiting to meet them inside?

But it’s fair to say some contestants go a little further than others to perfect their already incredible figures before going on the hugely popular dating show.

While some opt for an early sun-kissed glow, several stars have taken things one step further and gone under the knife for more permanent tweakments to enhance their natural beauty.

As viewers anxiously wait to see how their favourite couples’ romance unfolds, Daily Star has taken a closer look at the 2023 stars and their jaw-dropping transformations before waltzing onto the show.

Let’s take a look…

Tanyel Revan

Arguable one of the most vocal contestants about their cosmetic transformation is hair stylist Tanyel Revan.

Before she entered the villa, the Londoner confessed she had spent an eye-watering £4.5k to enhance her natural beauty which included everything from Botox, semi-permanent makeup and even a non-surgical Brazilian bum lift.

Speaking to Daily Star and other publications ahead of the launch of the Winter Love Island, the brunette beauty revealed: “So luckily, my best friends are all like in aesthetics, beauty and hair.

“So I’m sorted, I'm quite lucky with that. I had like my Botox, my fillers, everything topped up.”

She added: “My hair done, what else did I get done? Semi-permanent makeup, my lips, my eyebrows – ombre brow. Other than that, everything else wasn’t really planned.”

It was later revealed by aestheticians EvolveCosmeticsUK that Tanyel had also undergone a chin fat dissolving procedure to help tighten up her jawline.

Claudia Fogarty

But she wasn’t the only star to enhance her looks before she jetted off for her loved-up holiday by checking off £2.5k’s worth of tweatments.

After she joined the ITV cast, aesthetics expert Dr. Natalie Howarth who carried out the procedure, explained: “Claudia has the same values as I do when it comes to enhancing your natural beauty so only requires a slight tweak, to give a fresh glow to her appearance.

“The treatments Claudia has are very popular with her age group, with clients desiring an untouched looking face.”

In total, the blonde bombshell received a tear trough filler, chin and jawline filler, anti-wrinkle injections, an Aquatite facial and a course of laser hair removal for a healthy glow.

The natural-looking results is massively on trend at the moment, with stars opting to undergo small, barely-there tweakments to celebrate their natural features.

Over the past few months the trend has taken social media by story as many clients opt to ditch the idea of noticeable filler for a more subtle result.

Jessie Wynter

Australian beauty Jessie Wynter is no stranger to the Love Island villa after making it all the way to the finals in the series down under.

So it may come as no surprise to fans of the show that she went under the knife for several cosmetic surgeries prior to her first villa debut.

But the blonde bombshell wasn’t shy about her procedures as she openly discussed the multiple boob jobs she underwent as well as a nose job to correct her deviated septum.

Speaking with complete transparency, the starlet explained that she regretted her decision to alter her body after she suffered a botched operation.

She said: “I did get a boob job when I was younger, and it was one of those nightmare ones that didn’t go to plan.

“I fortunately got it fixed. I’ve had a really great year actually, getting it fixed was fantastic. I hope people don’t call me fake and can see past it.”

“I honestly wish I could go back and tell younger me, ‘Dude, don’t get a boob job, you’re fine the way you are’.

Back in 2019, the star told Who magazine that she wished she could go back in time and stop herself from getting the procedure done after facing multiple issues with her recovery.

Jessie went on: “They kind of shoved [the implants] in, didn’t structure it or anything and they were just really, really far apart. And they pretty much fell into my armpits.”

In 2021, Jessie informed her fans that she was recovering from a nose job – a decision that she didn’t regret because of its relieving health benefits.

She recalled on Instagram: “While I was going under and having my nose cut open, I was like, ‘Well, why not give me a cute little dip in it’.

“I didn’t want to change my nose completely and wanted my face to still look like mine, but my deviated septum and the bump in my nose made me feel extremely insecure about my face and is something I have wanted corrected for so long.”

Anna-May Robey

Although viewers were forced to bid an early farewell to Anna-May Robey when she was brutally dumped in the first few weeks of the show, the star confessed that she also went under the knife before the show.

Before she stepped foot into the villa, the brunette beauty told press, including Daily Star, about the procedures she had undergone.

She revealed: “I’ve had a little bit of lip filler, it was not something I was insecure about before though.

“I did have a boob job a couple of months ago but I don’t feel like those are things women need to get done. My boobs, I just had them done for confidence reasons.”

While she was happy with the results of her treatments, the reality star urged fans to think twice before committing to the cosmetic procedure as she explained surgery wouldn’t be a solution for everyone.

She warned: “If someone approached me about it, I'd tell them to think about it first as it’s not going to change your life.

“It’s not going to make you a million per cent happier but, obviously, if it’s going to boost your confidence then get it done, but if not then don’t get it done and I wouldn’t tell people to get it done either.”
