Love Island's Afia Tonkmor has explained why Gemma Owen's dad Michael Owen hasn't been mentioned so far on the ITV2 show.
Afia, 25, was sadly dumped from the villa earlier this month and she took part in a candid Q&A session on her Instagram account to answer fan questions about the ITV2 show on Tuesday.
So far on the series, there has been no mention of Gemma's famous father Michael even though her ex Jacques O'Neill made an explosive arrival into the villa earlier this month, where he spoke about getting close with her family during their eight-month romance.
During Afia's Q&A, one fan asked: "Do they know who Gemma's dad is?"
To which Afia explained with a video response: "If people do know – I did know before I went in because I watched her VT – but if people do know they don't care, nobody really cares."
Afia added: "I don't know who he is. I know he's a football guy. It was never, ever spoke about in my presence."
It comes as Love Island is reportedly set for the arrival of "ladies man" Billy Brown on the ITV2 show.
According to reports, Billy is set to be a new addition in the villa and it appears he is already familiar with Gemma as they both follow each other on Instagram, although it is not known if they are friends or have met before.
So far during her time on the show, Gemma was partnered with Liam Llewellyn, Davide Sanclimenti and she is now exploring a romance with Luca Bish.
While her ex Jacques made an explosive arrival into the villa earlier this month, where he is now partnered with Paige Thorne.
A source told Daily Mail: "Billy is a ladies man and he's definitely going to bring some fireworks into the villa.
"He knows what he wants and isn't shy about going after someone he fancies – whether they are in a couple or not."
OK! has contacted ITV for comment.
It is unknown whether Billy will reportedly enter the show as a male bombshell or join as part of Casa Amor.
And while nothing has been confirmed, Billy's latest Instagram posts show him partying in Ibiza, which is not too far from the villa in Majorca.
With one snap captioned with: "Good vibes only" followed by a palm tree emoji.
It comes as Love Island looks set for explosive scenes on Wednesday night as a new bombshell, Antigoni Buxton, is entering the villa as a surprise.
In a teaser shared at the end of Tuesday's episode, it sees the blonde newcomer, whose mum is celebrity chef Tonia Buxton, make her way into the villa as she places herself on a sun lounger.
