According to reports, Love Island's Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu had a nifty plan up her sleeve the entire time to steal the win with a rumoured Casa Amor hunk – providing she could last on the ITV2 programme for his arrival.
The actress, 27, is claimed to have come up with a cunning plan to bag herself the £50,000 prize fun as she awaited the arrival of James Price – who is supposedly entering as a latecomer.
It is thought that the Turkish model had colluded with James – who she is said to have met on the Essex scene – that she would wait for his Casa Amor arrival and they'd steal the title together.

Of course, a spot on the show is never guaranteed, even when selected by producers, so there was no way for Ekin to know for sure if James would even ever appear in the villa – or if she would, for that matter.
Her plot was simple, in that she advised the handsome latecomer to re-watch "old series" and requested for them to "act like" Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies – who had won the programme in 2019.
The Scottish Sun also reported that messages had been sent from Ekin-Su that read: "I'm waiting for my man," and requesting for him to "hurry" and "get your a*** in here".
A further message exchange was leaked which saw James ask the beauty: "Think we could actually win it?" with a response from Ekin-Su that read: "We will baby."
It is reported that the messages were sent to James in the weeks leading up to her own entrance.
The same publication explained that a friend had dished the details after finding the sneaky plan too much.
They explained: “Everybody knows Love Island can be a big machine for making money and becoming famous.
"Even those that really did find love also happened to make tons of money too, didn’t they? Ekin just wanted a piece of that."
Ekin's pal was reportedly happy to go along with her plot and keep the entire thing under wraps when she was being funny.
But having seen the reality seemingly unfolding with people getting "upset" as Ekin continues to hop from one man to next, her chum is said to have decided that enough was enough and opted to come clean.
Daily Star has not seen the alleged text messages.
ITV had no comment when approached by Daily Star.
Meanwhile, Friday's episode (June 24) sent shockwaves through the villa as newbie Charlie Radnedge selected Ekin-su to couple-up with.
Along with Ekin-Su, Tasha had also felt a connection on her date with Charlie and she made it clear to her current beau Andrew that she was open to exploring what he had to offer.
However, things backfired when Charlie picked Ekin-Su, but fortunately for Tasha, Andrew was more than willing to take her back.
Love Island continues on Sunday on ITV2 and ITV Hub at 9pm.
