The wait is finally over for Love Island fans up and down the country, as the legendary Movie Night challenge is set to return during tonight’s episode (July 15).
Over the past week tensions have been running high for many of the Islanders on the ITV2 dating show following Jacques O’Neil’s surprising exit after Adam Collard turned heads in the villa.
And it’s fair to say many of the stars have kept quiet about their raunchy antics while the girls were separated from the boys at the Casa Amor villa.

But their forbidden kisses may be uncovered during the dramatic challenge as one clip leaves Gemma Owen in tears while Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu describes the experience as her “worst nightmare”.

Fans have been begging for the return of the movie night challenge after their week-long separation saw many Islanders turn their backs on their partners.
Loyal viewers will remember Andrew Le Page infamously admitted getting too close to Coco Lodge while Tasha Ghouri was away and Dami Hope confessed to sharing a smooch with brunette bombshell Summer Botwe.
In the clip, it’s Gemma who receives the all-important text which warns contestants to “get glam and hit the red carpet” ahead of the Mad Movie premiere, but not many of the Islanders were enthused about the upcoming challenge.
During the show, Dami warned: “Movie night tonight is going to be some serious, horrific stuff” as viewers excitedly await for the upcoming drama to unfold.

Before the girls rush to get ready in the dressing room, Ekin-Su turned to her beau Davide Sanclimenti and says: “If we pass this, we’re fine” but warned that it might not be an easy ride.
The Turkish actress is then seen sitting in the Beach Hut as she confessed to producers: “Literally my worst nightmare has arrived.”
During her time in Casa Amor, Ekin-Su shared a bed with George Tasker, who later revealed in a TikTok video that the duo got “handsy” after the lights went out.
But Davide wasn’t free of sin either, after he shared a kiss with Coco Lodge in the garden and shared a smooch with Mollie Salmon in bed.
The loved-up couple have been growing closer since they returned from the villa after they agreed to communicate more instead of arguing at each other.
But it’s clear to see the Italian stallion is less than impressed by the secret clips shared during the challenge with his seen saying: “Okay, okay…”
One movie even leaves Gemma in tears as Luca Bish looked visibly annoyed while he told the boys: “I am 1005, 1005 bringing that up.”
The pair have so far been recognised as one of the strongest couples in the villa, as they managed to avoid any drama while they were away in Casa Amor.
And during Thursday night’s episode (July 15), they even confessed their love for one another moments before Tasha and Andrew made things official as boyfriend and girlfriend.
But the tantalising challenge is sure to stir up trouble in the villa after it quickly became a fan-favourite following the blazing row between Fay Winter and Teddy Soares last year.

A source told The Sun: “Bosses have kept viewers waiting this year – but rest assured it’s going to be worth it.
“If any Islanders thought the misdeeds of Casa Amor were behind them they are very much mistaken.
“Pretty much all couples are at risk from what plays out on the big screen and it’s sure to be unmissable.”
