Love Island’s Ron and Lana caught in heated ‘row’ ahead of ITV reunion show

Love Island finalists Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins have reportedly been spotted having a tense 'argument' ahead of Sunday night's reunion (March 19).

The couple, who came second place in this year's winter series, was the centre of controversy last week as sources say they had an argument on the plane while on their way back to the UK from South Africa.

But now Ron and Lana, both 25, appeared to be having another heated exchange of words in a car outside Lana's parents home.

An onlooker who allegedly saw the couple told The Sun: "They sat in the rain having a heated conversation for around 20 mins before finally going inside."

A source recently told the publication that the Love Island couple were "fuming" on their way home from South Africa- where the winter series took place.

The insider said: "They were so fuming they refused to film the 'meeting the family' part of the reunion show at Heathrow until producers stepped in again.

"They were due to stay overnight in London together but after the fight they went back to their family homes separately to cool down."

The source also alleged that ITV bosses were forced to intervene as things became fiery between the pair.

Reports claim that Ron and Lana's disagreement stems from where they want to live in the future.

Sources revealed that Ron said he would not move north to live with Lana – who is originally from Luton but is currently based in Manchester.

During an episode of Love Island where Ron's dad and friend entered the villa, he told them: "She’s going to come down here. We’ve spoken about it and we’re both going to have our bases."

Ron and Lana missed out on becoming Love Island winners 2023 when school teacher Kai Fagan and social worker Sanam Harrinanan beat them to the top spot.

However, when analysing their behaviour on the night of the finals, body language expert Darren Stanton seems to think that Ron and Lana were gutted that they didn't win.

Talking to Betfair Bingo, he said: "I definitely believe Ron and Lana expected to win during last night’s final.

"Ahead of the winners being announced, their expressions were the height of anticipation and suspense, which clearly proved they wanted to win.

"They went on to display signals of disappointment, shock and disbelief, based on their facial expressions and body language," he revealed.

Daily Star has contacted Lana's representative for comment.
