Love Island: Meet the series 10 islanders
This year’s Love Island contestants have been revealed as ITV fans look forward to another summer of love.
From models, footballers, real estate agents, influencers and business owners, the cast of series 10 is set to keep viewers hooked with romances, fallouts, tears and of course plenty of drama.
One islander looking forward to making their debut is Essex boy Tyrique Hyde, who revealed he’ll be bringing the “good vibes” into the villa.
Tyrique is no stranger to the Love Island world as he’s got a connection with a former islander, who offered some words of wisdom.
Speaking to Express.co.uk and other media publications, the 24-year-old said: “I had a conversation with Toby (Aromolaran) before, he’s my close friend.
“He said to me, ‘Bro just be yourself. If you’re not yourself people are going to see through, don’t be something you’re not and people will like you, you’ll smash it.’
“About the do’s and don’ts of what to do, we didn’t really go into that much detail. I didn’t want to ruin the experience for myself.”
Tyrique explained as Toby has already had his experience in the villa, he wanted to go into it himself with no expectations.

Toby was a firm favourite during his time on the show back in 2021 when he reached the final with former girlfriend Chloe Burrows.
However, it seems Tyrique also knows another past Love Islander who was featured on the dating show.
He added: “Toby is my closest friend, well one of my closest friends and also I played for the same team as Aaron Simpson when he came out of Love Island.
“So I also know Aaron, he was on Toby’s season I think. He comes in at the end as a bombshell.”

Aaron was coupled up with Mary Bedford during his time on the show but when they were booted out, she called it a day as he claims she “ghosted” him.
Hopefully, Tyrique will be luckier in love as he embarks on his own Love Island journey.
Although admitting he has a “wandering eye”, the 24-year-old confessed it could cause him a bit of a problem in the villa.
Love Island starts on Monday June 5 on ITV from 9pm.
