Fans of E4's Married At First Sight have been left disgruntled as they claim this series had far too many couples tying the knot.
During Tuesday night's episode (October 17), fashion lovers Mark and Sean made their debut as late arrivals. In a rather awkward ceremony, the pair became the final couple to say "I do" during this year's series.
But given the fact that the original couples are so far along in the process already, fans were left questioning why show producers decided to introduce another new couple in the show. While others felt the programme had too many weddings overall.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, viewers shared their grievances. While others stated that the introduction of newer couples was disrupting the flow of the programme making it hard to watch.
One social media user said: "When will the producers realise the weddings are the boring part, having new ones every other episode breaks the pace. What happened to the weekly tasks? The week seems to go, Brief clips of OG couples, new wedding, dinner party, commitment ceremony.
Another viewer echoed: "I hate when they bring new couples in in the middle of a season. It ruins the flow." A third chimed: "Is anyone else finding the constant addition of new couples on #MAFSUK annoying/disruptive/distracting? It doesn't add anything to the show and feels like a real jarring interruption. Very annoying."
Meanwhile, a fourth viewer admitted that they failed to watch the newer couple getting hitched. They wrote: "I feel bad for the new couples too cos no one's interested… I'm forwarding through them."
Things went off to a bad start for Mark on Tuesday night's show, as he was evidently unhappy being paired with New Look store manager, Sean. Speaking to Daily Star and other associated press previously, Mark expressed that Sean wasn't his usual type.
He said: "I didn't know what I exactly wanted at the end of the alter. I think when you meet them, you are both in this whirlwind and you get on and it isn't until probably until after the honeymoon where cracks will show but I do think being with him, I can see why we were matched.
"Physically he isn't probably what I'd look for, I'd probably swipe left on Tinder. But I can see why we were matched because everything I needed in a person was kind of given to me."
