EXCLUSIVE: Writer-director Maggie Betts has signed with WME for representation.
Her latest film, The Burial starring Jamie Foxx, Jurnee Smollett and Tommy Lee Jones, premiered to rave reviews at Toronto Film Festival last month and will be released theatrically by Amazon/MGM on October 6.

Betts’ debut feature Novitiate premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, winning the Jury Award for Direction, and was picked up for distribution by Sony Pictures Classics. She also was nominated for a Gotham Award for Breakthrough Director.
