MALPRACTICE viewers have called out a string of 'preposterious' blunders as they fumed at the ITV show.
The medical thriller, which is based in Leeds, sees an investigation take place over a doctor caught up in a dangerous conspiracy.
Niamh Algar plays the role of Dr Lucinda Edwards who is at the centre of the investigation after a patient dies of an overdose.
During the latest episode, which aired last night, viewers watched as Lucinda fought to defend herself.
While dealing with her growing work problems, the characters home life was also put under strain.
But Malpractice viewers have hit out at the new drama for a string of errors.

They pointed out how ITV 'made so many mistakes' when it comes to the NHS and its procedures.
During the episode fans watched as a patient's details were freely handed out among other blunders.
Writing on social media, one fan said: "This is awfully compelling despite so many errors that anyone working in senior NHS roles can see. How did they make so many mistakes?!"
A second said: "Giving personal numbers to patients, really?"

"#Malpractice how did they not take her pass off a straight away," questioned a third.
While a fourth commented: "Despite some very good scenes and sharp writing, it got too muddled and rushed by the end and some elements were preposterous. Also, what was with all the needless gore?"
Meanwhile, viewers were left 'screaming at the TV' when last week's instalment aired.
Doctor Lucinda Edwards, the protagonist, found herself entangled in a drug ring that supplies fentanyl to drug addicts – following the death of fellow GP, Rob.
Whilst at a pharmacy, Lucinda attempted to secure payment for distributing the drugs and turns on her phone, to discover missed calls from her partner Tom.
In a later scene, Lucinda's daughter Abi was seen crawling under the bed before Lucinda left.
Shortly after, Tom discovered Abi sat motionless – with a packet of pills in her hand.
Malpractice continues on ITV1 and ITVX.
