Brad Skelly, who has been a contestant on the 2023 series of Married At First Sight UK, looks completely different in throwback snaps.
The 27 year old now has prominent tattoos all over his body, most notably on his face and neck, and his locks are much longer than they once were.
In pictures posted to his social media accounts between 2013 and 2016, he can be seen with ink on his chest and arms, but none around his neck or on his face.
He also had a baby face as he was clean-shaven and sported a short cut, styled with a quiff.
One picture shows him at a party in December 2013, while another sees him at a Christmas photoshoot in November 2016, when he worked as a naked butler.
Brad’s wife, Shona Manderson, broke her silence this week after the show’s latest instalment gave viewers a glimpse at his “controlling” behaviour.
During Wednesday’s episode, he told the 31 year old to “shut up” and said that he “allowed” Shona to feel her emotions, with the show’s experts Mel Schilling,Celebs Go Dating’s Paul Brunson and sex and relationships therapist, Charlene Douglas, warning him that his behaviour was “dangerous.”
Shona said that she was “trying to be so positive” but was feeling “so intense and heightened.”
"In this moment, I’m trying to be so positive and give it all I’ve got because I’m really trying to believe in us, and what I was feeling was so intense and heightened.
"The last two nights have been hard to watch, and I know tonight will be even trickier. I’m aware of the insecurities I have this experiment really bought them to the surface.
"Firstly, I didn’t like the feeling that the group were talking about us in a negative way, I admit I want to be liked, but I needed validation as deep down in my gut I knew there was truth in what people were saying and I was almost trying to convince myself.”
She continued: "I was completely infatuated in that relationship. I got lost, and in trying to defend us as a couple, I was silenced. I don’t even remember that happening.
"It’s difficult to see what everyone else could see and what you are watching play out now. It’s uncomfortable to see this from the outside perspective and feeling what arises up for me in witnessing what everyone else could see, and now you’re watching it play out just as we watch it for the first time.
"I could honestly write so much as there are so many factors involved with what goes down within our pairing, a lot of things which happen off camera and things that aren’t aired.. the good and the ugly. Most importantly, I need to remember how far I’ve come since then. I’ve truly learnt so much on this journey, it’s been a huge lesson for me, and it actually has been a very, very happy ending."
