The TV personality reportedly files a lawsuit against them over her and her former ‘LHH: Hollywood’ co-star Hazel-E’s fight when they were filming ‘The Conversations’ back in August 2020.
AceShowbiz –Masika Kalysha is taking a legal action against Hazel-E and Zeus Network. The TV personality reportedly filed a lawsuit against them over her and Hazel’s fight when they were filming “The Conversations” back in August 2020.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, Masika, who filed the paperwork without any legal representation, claims that she agreed to join the show as the Network told her that the two would be put together in the same room to squash their years-long beef.
Masika, however, didn’t sign up to be ambushed by Hazel’s makeup artist who came into her dressing room to attack her. She alleged that the incident resulted in her suffering from multiple bruises, a broken finger and scratches on her body.
Not stopping there, Masika also claimed that one of Zeus’ security guards inappropriately touched her when they tried to break up the fight. She said in the suit that one guard groped her groin and butt while saying, “She’s thick as f**k.”
The whole fight was caught on camera. Despite Masika’s request not to air the assault, footage of the ambush came out anyway. In addition to wanting all footage of the fight to be taken down, Masika is suing for sexual battery and fraud.
The Shade Room, meanwhile, stated that Masika is mostly targeting Zeus in her lawsuit over how the network handled the situation. Hazel was listed in the lawsuit against Zeus because she was a part of the altercation as a whole. Masika is seeking $6 million in damages.
As for Hazel, she previously shared in an interview that she did wish to end her feud with her former “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” co-star. “I just felt like in the beginning when I tried to hold my poise and my posture and really sit down like a lady to have that talk, that energy was so off from the get-go that by the time the meltdown happened and her wig was gone, I was just like she has lost it,” she said in late 2020.
When asked if she would continue trying to make amend with Masika, she responded, “I have no reason to ever communicate with that lady ever again in my life. I’m good. I never want to come in contact with that human being ever again.”
