A few weeks ago in Emmerdale, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) and Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) made a pact to destroy Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) if she ever came near the family again.
The decision came after Mack, Matty and Moira (Natalie J Robb) discovered Suzy gave Holly Barton cash to buy the drugs that killed her.
For Moira, she wants to forget about Suzy and grieve in peace. Matty? Not so much.
At the start of the week, finances at Take a Vow are difficult for Leyla (Roxy Shahidi), so she decides to take Callum’s job of storing drugs in exchange for cash.
When Suzy sees Callum, she’s puzzled as to why he’s outside Take a Vow and can’t help wondering if Leyla is still scoring.
Watching the interaction is Matty, who’s convinced he’s witnessing a drug deal.
Later, as Matty secretly searches around Take a Vow, he finds a holdall of drugs.
Determined to make Suzy take responsibility for her actions, Matty plants the drugs in Suzy’s car and later, he phones the police.
Matty is determined to destroy Suzy, but will his plan work?
Or could he be left regretting his actions?
