Meet the two new Love Island bombshells entering the villa tonight

The Love Island villa is set for even more drama as two new bombshells are set to make their grand entrance in tonight's episode.

The latest twist from the sprawling Spanish setting saw host Maya Jama enter and let the Islanders know two couples would be forced to split up ahead of the bombshells' arrivals.

Eventually, Jess Harding and Sammy Root, and Mitchel Taylor and Leah Taylor were voted the least compatible and forced to stand in front of the fire pit.

Now, the newest additions to the smash hit reality dating show are set to make their presence known. Mal Nicol, a 25 year old picture researcher from Edinburgh will be joined by Montel McKenzie, also 25; an account manager and semi-professional footballer from east London.

Ahead of their grand entrance, the explosive new duo have revealed which Islanders they feel drawn to, as well as their reasons for venturing into the villa to find love.

Mal Nicol

On her reasons for looking for love on the show, brunette beauty Mal said: "Since I moved to London, having the balance of seeing friends, work and gym, it’s really difficult to date at the same time. It’s quite exhausting to date in the real world.

“When you strip it back to no distractions or social situations your pure focus is on people. I'm intrigued to find a connection.”

Opening up about which Islanders have caught her eye, she said: “I do actually like Sammy. I think he’s quite funny and his personality is coming out more – there is something about him I fancy.

"I fancy Zach as well, Zach but I wouldn’t go in too strong on him as I feel like he’ll get a bit big for his boots because he’s had a lot of female attention. I think I’d play it cool with him. Scott seems lovely – I think he’s got really nice eyes. But I do usually go for a rugby boy not a footballer."

There's been some strong friendships forged in the villa so far, with the bombshells having to enter while relationships and bonds are well established. Discussing the girls, the budding reality star said: “I think they are all very different. Jess says it how it is and has good banter and I like her humour. I like Molly’s energy – it seems very contagious and very positive. I think I would vibe with them. Obviously Ella is from Glasgow so we have that in common.”

Mal, who describes herself as "a flirtatious person" and "such an attention seeker" but doesn't have a particular game plan. She explained: “I don’t have a game plan and I have never been one to be smooth with flirting. I know I can’t flirt, I can’t dance and I can’t sing, but I can guarantee I’ll be able to laugh them into my bed.

“I’ve never been a flirtatious person but my energy is quite endearing and cute. I think boys think I am quite sexy but because I’m goofy, I come across as sweet and innocent. I know I won’t have to go for them – they’ll probably come for me.”

On the challengers, she said: “I am such an attention seeker, so I will love that. It’s going to feel so euphoric – that’s why I want someone who is playful and fun. Someone who is unapologetically themselves. Life’s too short – no-one cares.”

Mal also said her parents haven't given her any "rules" before heading into the villa as they're both very supportive – though her dad is "very old fashioned".

Montel McKenzie

On his reasons for turning to the villa on his quest for love, Montel said: “I just haven’t found someone I want to date, I’m always so busy with work and football."

On who he's drawn to from this year's roster of singletons, the semi-professional footballer said: “My top three right now would be Catherine, Leah and Ella. Ella for me is generally my type, Catherine carries herself well and seems like a classy girl. Leah seems very chilled and that’s the kind of person I am.”

He added he's "not worried" about splitting a couple up if he "really wants the girl" and added: "I’m not going to cause a problem over someone I am not interested in. I’ll definitely speak to Ella despite her being coupled up with Tyrique.

“I am used to people coming up to me – I’m lucky I guess. I don’t usually approach girls and win them over. I will definitely get on with the guys in there but, at the same time, I need to talk to everyone. I’ll just be the guy that I am – cool and calm.”

On what the boys in the villa are doing right or wrong, he said: “Mitch has got it completely wrong. It’s his sneakiness for me – he makes little comments about people and that’s not how I would go about things.

“Me and Tyrique are from similar places, so I think we might behave similarly. I like his attitude and I would probably say the same things as him in certain situations.”

Montel is quietly confident any connections with the girls in the villa won't result in romantic liaisons. He's assured his family he is "definitely not going to have sex on TV" but added: "Well, I said I would try my best."

The new Islander is also keen to issue a word of warning to his future co-stars: “Watch your girls because the guy that gets all of the girls is coming into the Love Island Villa.”

Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
