Michael Strahan confirms he’s wrapped filming on Pyramid
Michael Strahan has been busy away from the Good Morning America desk filming the ABC game show, Pyramid.
The popular entertainment show sees members of the public paired with a celebrity as they try to solve a series of cryptic questions and words and phrases in the hopes of bagging life-changing sums of cash.
But now, Michael has confirmed filming on the latest series of Pyramid has come to a close, freeing up his work diary.
And the update has sparked a meltdown among his fans who are itching for him to make a comeback to his spot on GMA.
The update came on Michael’s Instagram page, where he recorded himself saying to the camera from the Pyramid set: “Alright, when you shoot a show like Pyramid, everybody at home, you see the celebrity you see the contestants but you don’t see everyone who works behind the scenes to actually make it happen.”
“But it’s like a family reunion because we’ve been doing it for seven years and people fly in from all over the country to be here and be a part of it, I’m really appreciative of that.
“And it’s also like a family reunion because you get people show up and you’re going, ‘Where they come from?’
“But it’s a lot of fun,” Michael added with a chuckle before he turned the camera around to the crew and yelled: “Check out everybody!”
The gang of crew members and celebrities behind him cheered in celebration after filming wrapped.
He accompanied the video with the caption: “That’s a WRAP on shooting season 7 of @pyramidabc. We shot 20 shows over 4 days and couldn’t be more grateful to you all.
“So much goes into a show like this. I can’t thank our #100KPyramid team enough. We can never do this without each one of you.
“Special THANK YOU to all our celebrity guests for coming on and winning our guests some $$$$$!!
“AND to EVERYONE who tunes in each week to The $100,000 Pyramid, you are in for a treat for season 7. Coming soon to @abcnetwork.”

While @christi_bowers weighed into the comments: “Can’t wait. Miss you on Gma too.”
