Mrs Brown’s Boys is not ending anytime soon, says Brendan O’Carroll.
The show’s star and creator plans to keep making Christmas specials as long as he feels it is funny.
The Irish comic, 66, said: “As long as the BBC want me to do Christmas episodes, I’ll keep doing them.”

At the start of the year, viewers begged the BBC to "cancel" Mrs Brown's Boys as they tuned in to the New Year's Day episode.
"Literally the worst show ever – cancel it," one person said.
While another, referencing Covid, said: "Sooner catch Happy New Year's Omicron than watch Mrs Brown's Boys!"
A third said: "2022 was going so well but Mrs Brown's Boys has just come on!"
It seemed as though their prayers had been answered back in May after Maria Brown star Fiona O'Carroll confirmed that a planned series revival was no longer happening.
Reports suggested that new episodes would be filmed in April for a new mini-series, but Fiona later confirmed it didn't happen.
She said: "Well, you know what this industry is like. There is lots of talk and lots of talk and until it is happening you will never really know."
The actress continued: "We were supposed to be doing a mini series this year but, unfortunately, due to various different reasons it didn't happen. So, there is talk of it happening next year, a possible mini series."
Speaking to Ireland AM about the struggles, Fiona went on: “It's not just down to us, it's down to studio time, it's down to crew and it’s down to cast. With Covid, it was a massively turbulent time. There is a huge backlog and all artists and productions are fighting for time and space.”
However the stars did head out on a UK tour earlier in the summer, ahead of the festive specials filming in October.
