Jackie Howard – Nikki Rodriguez
Jackie is a successful student with a picture-perfect life until she loses her family, aged 15, in a tragic car accident.
She is forced to leave her life in Manhattan behind and move in with a large family in rural Colorado where she starts to develop feelings for two of the brothers.
Actress Nikki Rodriguez has only been acting onscreen since 2018 but has been involved in projects like Adam Ruins Everything, Speechless and Back to Lyla.
Katherine Walter – Sarah Rafferty
Katherine was Jackie’s mum’s best friend at Columbia University and her new guardian.
Jackie goes to live with Katherine, who works as a veterinarian, her husband George, and their 10 children.
Actress Sarah Rafferty is best known for playing Donna Roberta Paulsen in USA Network’s Suits, as well as Pamela Blake in Chicago Med.

George Walter – Marc Blucas
George grew up on the family ranch where he now raises his large family in Colorado and is proud to look after his loved ones alongside his wife Katherine.
Actor Marc Blucas had roles as Riley Finn in WB’s supernatural drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Matthew Donnelly in USA sports drama Necessary Roughness.
Some of his other parts have been in romantic comedy First Daughter with Katie Holmes, Three and The Killing Floor.
Cole Walter – Noah LaLonde
Cole is involved in the love triangle with Jackie and is seen as the troubled brother of the family.
He is struggling with his own identity after suffering an injury which means he can no longer play football and receive a scholarship.
Actor Noah LaLonde has previously featured in Criminal Minds, Asbury Park and a number of shorts.

Alex Walter – Ashby Gentry
Alex is Cole’s romantic competitor as he quickly grows very close to Jackie when she moves into their home.
Unlike Cole, Alex is reliable and a bit nerdy, but could his friendship with Jackie grow into something more?
Actor Ashby Gentry is also very new to the entertainment industry, having only been in Mooch and My Life and Are You Afraid of the Dark? before this Netflix series.
Danny – Connor Stanhope
Danny may be Cole’s fraternal twin brother but they couldn’t be more different with his thoughtful and considerate attitude, as well as his love for films.
Actor Connor Stanhope may also be recognised from Smallville, Merlin’s Apprentice, When Calls the Heart and Supernatural.

Will – Johnny Link
Will is the eldest sibling in the Walter family and is keen to ease Jackie into their way of life.
Much like Will, actor Johnny Link, whose only other credit is in Dear Edward, is hard of hearing and wears hearing aids.
Nathan – Corey Fogelmanis
As the musician of the family, Nathan is often seen playing his guitar and soon becomes Jackie’s running buddy.
He shares a room with Alex so spends time with both him and Jackie on a regular basis throughout the show.
Actor Corey Fogelmanis has been in Deadly Scholars, Moxie, Girl Meets World and Ma.
