My Mum, Your Dad fans have branded Davina McCall the "perfect" host after the new show aired some emotional scenes.
Tuesday night's episode was only the second in the new series and it is already proving to be a hit with the viewers at home.
During the episode, Davina sat with the contestants as they discussed their first evening at the retreat.
However, it all got a bit much for Monique, who ended up walking away in tears, and she was quickly followed by Davina, who was on hand to give her a hug and offer a listening ear.
Davina stood and listened as 50 year old Monique explained that she had never been in love before, but she wants to love someone.
The emotional scenes got fans talking online, but they were all full of praise for 55 year old Davina.
One person on Twitter wrote: "Davina is the perfect person for this show #MyMumYourDad."
While another said: "@ThisisDavina, you was the right choice to present the show #MyMumYourDad."
This viewer wrote: "I just adore Davina on reality shows like these – she’s so invested and supportive to the contestants, and it’s so lovely to see, She truly wants to see them get the best out of this, and I love it, you’re smashing it @ThisisDavina #MyMumYourDad."
Another penned: "@ThisisDavina #MyMumYourDad I’m loving this show. It’s a great format, and Davina is perfect for compassionate towards the guests."
A fifth person tweeted: "Davina is perfect for this show, and this show is perfect for Davina.
"This show needs the dates to be able to trust the process, and Davina is so important to making that happen. That’s why you’re the GOAT @ThisisDavina!"
Davina spoke about that moment with Monique before the scenes aired, when she told us: "For Monique – a 50-year-old therapist from North London – we were talking about intimacy and love, and it triggered something in her that was incredibly painful, so she had to leave the room. She’s terrified of being rejected and letting someone in."
Before the show aired for the first time on Monday, 11 September, it was being described as a middle-aged Love Island, but Davina explained in a chat with OK! that the description was down to her.
She said: "It’s my fault that it got called Midlife Love Island – that’s what I called it in an email to [Commissioning Editor] Amanda Stavri. I’ve been trying to burn that name ever since!"
