NETFLIX fans have been left 'angry and heartbroken' over sexy thriller Obsession's ending.
The steamy four-part drama stars Richard Armitage as William, a surgeon and father who embarks on an illicit affair with his son's fiancee, Anna.
*Spoilers ahead for the ending of Netflix's Obsession*
However, William soon becomes obsessed with Anna, and it soon wreaks havoc for everyone involved.
After numerous raunchy scenes and plenty of nudity, things take a dark turn in the fourth and final episode.
It opens with William's son Jay – and Anna's fiance – walking in on his dad and future wife having sex.

Jay – played by Rish Shah – immediately backs away as his naked father comes towards him and tries to explain or apologise.
His son ends up against a banister in the stairwell, before losing his grip and toppling over it and falling to his death below.
Despite his loss, William later tracks Anna down in the hope of having a future with her.
But when she points out they caused his son's death, he shockingly admits: "Still, I wouldn’t change it.”

Netflix viewers were taken aback by the drama's finale, with one writing on Twitter: "I was expecting more drama in Obession after he caught his dad and fiancee. Why did it have to end like that."
Another added: "1/2 Finished #Obsession, the end left me back kinda drained out. The sex scenes didn't shock me but the end.
"His wife must have felt like her life was just shattered glass, all memories too.. when he would have been ready to do all again even though he knew the consequences."
A third tweeted: "I’m so traumatised."
While a fourth simply wrote: "What a crap ending."
