NETFLIX'S Black Mirror has left viewers 'sick and horrified' by Beyond the Sea episode's epic twist.
The hit series returned for a sixth season on Thursday, with five new standalone episodes.
One that has really got people talking is Beyond the Sea, which stars Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul, Pearl Harbour's Josh Hartnett and Fantastic Four actress Kate Mara.
Beyond the Sea is set in an alternative 1969, where two men are on a perilous high-tech mission and wrestle with the consequences of an unimaginable tragedy.
But the episode's shock twist has left many Netflix viewers in a right state, with one tweeting: "beyond the sea’s ending, this is SICK."
Another wrote: "just finished beyond the sea and what the f***……"

Others struggled to handle the intensity of the episode, considering it came immediately after Loch Henry, which had also left them in bits.
One Black Mirror fan wrote: "why did black mirror put beyond the sea directly after loch henry…like im horrified.
Another agreed: "YOU JUST CANT PUT LOCH HENRY AND BEYOND THE SEA NEXT TO EACH OTHER DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT WILL DO TO MY BRAIN????"

Loch Henry follows a young couple who travel to a sleepy Scottish town to start work on a genteel nature documentary – but find themselves drawn to a juicy local story involving shocking events of the past.
After watching the episode, Netflix viewers were left scared to go to sleep with many labelling it "disturbing" and "twisted".
