  • Paul Sinha dished out some brutal fighting talk during the latest instalment of The Chase after the comic took a savage swipe at one of his fellow contestants.

During Friday’s visit (April 21) to the ITV studios, gameshow host Bradley Walsh welcomed four new quizzers onto the show looking to put their general knowledge to the test.

As fans tuned in for the primetime show, the former Coronation Street star introduced contestants Rob, Carol, Eleanor and David onto the show where they battled it out to take home the all-important cash prize.

This week, the quartet went up against Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha who made sure to bring his A-game as he struggled to eliminate any of the four players.

As Rob stepped up to the plate, he surpassed all expectations after he raked in an impressive £8,000 in his speedy cash-builder round.

Before he welcomed the pro quizzer onto the show, Bradley asked the crown prosecutor what he gets up to in his free time.

He revealed some of his favourite hobbies include hiking and running with his wife as well as collecting Star Wars themed Lego.

After struggling to beat Rob's other three teammates, Paul made sure to put his game face on before their tense head-to-head round as he dished out some savage fighting talk.

He joked: "I knew you were something different when you said you have a collection of Lego Star Wars and you're married. That's almost unheard of."

Luckily, the legal advisor was able to brush off the scathing remark when he rejected Paul's low offer of £5,000.

He confessed: "Well I was told if I took the low offer I wouldn't have a wife anymore so I'd be back to the normal Star Wars Lego collector status."

Brad cheekily replied with: "Well done, Kita" as Rob settled on his decision to battle it out to add £8,000 to the prize pot.

And the solicitor did just that, but that wasn't enough to beat Paul in the final round, after he caught the team and stole their joint sum of £25,000.
