The outspoken journalist clashed with lawyer Paula Rhone-Adrien on his TalkTV programme Piers Morgan: Uncensored over the way the UK press has treated the Duchess of Sussex. As they discussed allegations of racist bullying, Piers remained adamant Meghan Markle received “no racism whatsoever” before she walked down the aisle with Prince Harry.
Piers began: “There was no racism whatsoever towards Meghan Markle before that wedding from the press in this country. None. Nada. Zero.”
His guest clapped back at Piers, telling him he “did not know that” as the debate heated up.
She fumed: “You can’t say that, because you don’t know what existed for her and what she’s saying and what Harry is saying, because I notice that we’re focusing on Meghan, but Harry is part of this as well.”
