Rebecca Loos’ five-word promise to Victoria Beckham after David ‘affair’ scandal

‘BECKHAM’ documentary series: official trailer

Rebecca Loos’ five-word message to Victoria Beckham at the height of the publicity about her alleged affair with husband David Beckham has been uncovered in an unearthed interview.

In 2004, the couple’s then five-year-old marriage was rocked to the core when Rebecca, David’s former PA, claimed she’d had an affair with him.

Rebecca alleged that she had a fling with him while he was living in Spain and playing for Real Madrid and Victoria was back in the UK looking after their children.

David subsequently denied all her claims and branded them “ludicrous”.

Having sold her story to the now defunct News Of the World Rebecca appeared on Sky for a sit-down interview and told Victoria “I don’t expect any sympathy.”

David and Victoria opened up about the alleged affair in the recent Netflix documentary series Beckham.

“There were some horrible stories that were difficult to deal with. It was the first time that me and Victoria had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage,” David said in the show.

Meanwhile Victoria, 49, admitted it was the lowest point in their marriage saying: “One hundred per cent it was the hardest period for us. Because it felt like the world was against us.

“And here’s the thing; we were against each other, if I’m being completely honest. You know, up until Madrid sometimes it felt like us against everybody else. But we were together. We were connected. We had each other.

“But when we were in Spain, it didn’t really feel that we had each other either. And that’s sad. I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it was and how it affected me.”
