Robbie Williams: Netflix documentary trailer
Robbie Williams admits to “sleeping with his dealer” before going on a date with his now-wife, Ayda Field.
In his new Netflix documentary, Robbie Williams: Raw. Honest. Real, the 49-year-old made some candid confessions and in one part recalled his first date with the American actress.
The pair met through friends and originally they were going to attend a dinner party together.

Although, unbeknown to Ayda at the time, Robbie had met up with his dealer just before inviting her over.

“She came over to my house after being at a party, I had just seen off my dealer who I was sleeping with at the time,” Robbie recalled.
“The house is completely f***ing dirt, no candles, no lights…this is weird,” Ayda went on.
“We are just sitting there talking and we have nothing in common.”
Robbie admitted: “I was like, ‘This is not working out,'” before explaining he took Ayda back to the party she had been at.
Ayda continued: “Unbeknown to me, Rob was going to ditch me at this party.”

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday morning, Robbie shared a poignant post with his 2.9 million followers opening up about his struggles with mental health.
He posted a clip of himself skipping down a path while holding a sign reading: “Hello, but you make me nervous.”
In the caption, Robbie penned: “If I’m out, I’m anxious. I’m constantly surveying what’s coming my way.
“I hate to use this phrase but I also suffer from depression. I wish there was a different well-used phrase other than ‘suffer with’…I think ‘clinically depressed’ is better. Way more Lab-coaty. “These days I’m more ‘meh’ than anything. With sudden bursts off, ‘Oh Christ, take me back to meh.'”
