Grammy-winning musician Lizzo has had several of her songs featured on RuPaul’s Drag Race over the years, and she’s even appeared on the show herself as a guest judge. Over the years, queens have delivered unforgettable lip syncs to some of Lizzo’s biggest songs.
Monét X Change and Kameron Michaels performed ‘Good As Hell’ in front of Lizzo
Lizzo made her first appearance on RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2018 as a guest judge on season 10. While sitting behind the judges’ table, she watched queens Kameron Michaels and Monét X Change battle it out to her uplifting anthem, “Good As Hell.”
Ultimately, eventual runner-up Kameron Michaels beat out Monét X Change to remain in the competition. Monét would go on to win season 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.
Monét X Change and Jujubee lip synced to ‘Juice’ on ‘All Stars 5’
When Monét X Change returned as a lip sync assassin on season 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, she had the opportunity to perform to yet another song: her 2019 hit single “Juice.” She went up against Drag Race royalty Jujubee, and came out on top over the beloved perennial queen.
Ginger Minj and Mayhem Miller lip synced to ‘Phone’ on ‘All Stars 6’
Season 7 runner-up and All Stars 2 alumna Ginger Minj joined the cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars season 6 in 2021 for her third try at the crown. She won several challenges throughout the season and competed in a variety of lip syncs.
For one of her lip syncs, Ginger Minj was paired against season 10 and All Stars 5 alum Mayhem Miller for a performance of Lizzo’s song “Phone.” Minj’s campy performance ultimately gave her the win, a $10,000 tip, and the power of elimination.
June Jambalaya and Orion Story performed ‘Water Me’ in front of Lizzo on Season 14
Lizzo returned to the judges’ table on RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2022 for the premiere episode of season 14.
For her second go-around, Lizzo was treated to a performance of her single “Water Me.” The battle pit June Jambalaya and Orion Story against each other, with June Jambalaya sending Orion Story home; Orion later returned along with fellow first-out Daya Betty.
Jinkx Monsoon and Raja performed ‘Better In Color’ on ‘All Stars 7’
Lizzo’s most recent appearance in the Drag Race universe came on season 7 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, also known as the “All-Winners Season.”
In the season’s fourth episode, season 3 winner Raja and season 5 winner Jinkx Monsoon went head-to-head in a performance of Lizzo’s song “Better In Color” from her Grammy-winning 2019 album Cuz I Love You. Camp queen Jinkx ended up beating out fashion icon Raja in the performance.
