Loose Women: Ruth shares frustration over Eamonn habit
Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford revealed what makes her “rage” about her husband Eamonn Holmes during the latest episode of the ITV talk show.
“I’ve mentioned before that Eamonn will take the top of a yoghurt and put the wet side and just put it down,” Ruth, 63, explained as she demonstrated the action with her hands.
The audience groaned with disgust as she looked at the crowd and replied: “Yeah, I know, I know.”
“Oh, so what?” Coleen Nolan said to which Ruth replied: “So somebody said, ‘Just leave it,’ and I have done before.
“I have days where I am like, ‘I’m going to leave that, I’m going to leave that…'”

Panellist Katie Piper chimed in to tell Ruth she should just act “cool and blasé” but the latter admitted she could not always act unbothered by the annoying habit.
Ruth added: “Sometimes I am scratching like this thinking, ‘Ah, it’s still there.’
“I can’t and he knows I can’t. He would not even notice it because he’s kind of just left it there.
“But it’s funny as it depends on what mood I am in and where we are at in that part of our relationship that day.

“So sometimes I rage and I go, ‘Who said this? I am not in the mood to clean up after you!’
“If I am in a really happy mood I go, ‘Oh, what’s he like? Honestly, what’s he like that Eamonn?'”
The audience erupted into laughter as did Ruth following her admission on the ITV talk show.
Eamonn was not there to defend himself but he often shares anecdotes about his wife Ruth while presenting his GB News morning show.
Earlier this year the Northern Irish broadcaster told his co-host Isabel Webster his wife hates how he breathes.
“My breathing annoys my wife,” he exclaimed. “It’s called misophonia and a lot of people have this. Some people hear things the way that other people don’t hear things.”
He concluded: “Ruth has this condition which a lot of people suffer from and people are very sensitive to noise.”
Loose Women airs on weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
