Coronation Street viewers will finally see Daisy Midgeley's catfishing of Ryan Connor exposed tonight (Wednesday) as her good intentions go horribly wrong.
Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) has been trying to help Ryan (Ryan Prescott) rebuild his confidence after the devastating acid attack earlier in the year, but her way of going about it will have the opposite effect when a furious Ryan discovers what she has done.
Stalker Justin Rutherford (Andrew Still) tried to attack Daisy in the Rovers Return as she got ready for her wedding to Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), but brave Ryan jumped in front of Daisy as he threw a glass of acid and ended up taking the force of it.
He has endured months of treatment and surgery for the excruciating burns to his face and Daisy believed she could make him feel better by pretending to be his love interest Crystal and sending him flirty messages.
But Ryan worked out he was being catfished when Daisy continued to send the messages not knowing that Ryan had found out Crystal was actually in a coma.
Now, he is set to complete the final piece of the jigsaw when he realises that the pretend Crystal was actually Daisy – and his reaction will not be good.
Ryan confronts Daisy in Wednesday's episode after finding out the truth from Max and as well as being very angry he decides to blackmail her over their recent secret kisses.
After angrily throwing her out, he makes the threat when Daisy tries to explain herself and why she did it, but a humiliated and furious Ryan tells Daisy that he thinks it is about time that Daniel found out about them having kissed.
Meanwhile, Adam Barlow is also sharing kisses – with his wife Sarah, but despite her initial happiness that he is pulling her in for an intimate moment after all of their troubles, she soon realises it wasn't for her benefit.
She spots Damon Hay nearby and it clicks that Adam was kissing her for Damon's benefit, to prove that he has won his wife back after her affair with him.
Sarah begins to wonder whether their reunion is more about Adam saving face, while Adam urges Nick to put family first and cut ties with Damon who he claims is poisonous.
Will Adam and Sarah be able to salvage and rebuild their relationship, or will they both realise there is too much water under the bridge to be able to continue their marriage?
