Saturday Kitchen in chaos as guest repeats X-rated word live on BBC show

Saturday Kitchen Live descended into chaos when a guest chef kept blurting out a rude word on-air.

BBC viewers were left in stitches on Saturday morning (March 4) after tuning in to get their latest fix of daytime cooking action.

But they were in for a real shock when guest chef Poppy O'Toole appeared on the programme to whip up a tasty meal for celebrity guest Alesha Dixon.

TikTok star Poppy was cooking alongside show host Matt Tebbutt and revealing how she shot to fame on the social media site, where she boasts a whopping four million followers.

Poppy seemingly meant to tell Matt that she built up her fanbase "on a whim", but it didn't quite come out like that as she used a rather rude word instead.

She accidentally blurted out the word "q**m" instead, which is a nasty slang word for female genitals.

And what made matters worse was the fact that the chef used the word multiple times on camera before Matt stepped in to correct her.

Poppy then showed her innocence in not knowing what she was saying when she asked: "What's a q**m?"

Unfortunately for the social media star, eagle-eyed BBC viewers didn't miss a beat and they flocked to Twitter immedaitely.

Fans were left in stitches during the broadcast, with one tweeting: "Whats a quim?' Best thing ever asked on Saturday morning TV" alongside laughing emojis.

Another wrote: "Poppy right now not having a CLUE what she said lmao."

A third asked: "#saturdaykitchen did she really just ask what a 'quim' was."

A fourth revealed that it was their favourite moment of the year so far as they added: "Wonderful wonderful scenes as the word quim gets said twice instead of whim on #SaturdayKitchen. Highlight of the year so far."

And one viewer heaped praise on Matt for the way he handled the blunder, writing: "And the award for the keeping of the straight face of the year award goes to @matt_tebbutt the consummate professional!!!"
