SATURDAY Kitchen's Matt Tebbutt scrambled to cover up an on air blunder and a crew member was forced to step in during the live show.
Today's edition of the BBC cookery show saw Matt welcome Rob Rinder as his guest as well as chefs Cyrus Todiwala and Irina Georgescu.
At one point, Rob, 45, was helping Matt with a dish while discussing his debut on the fifth season of the BBC's Amazing Hotels: Life Beyond the Lobby.
But as Rob launched into an anecdote from filming the series, the sound went and he couldn't be heard by viewers.
Matt, 49, immediately picked up on the technical glitch and scrambled to fill in, taking over the conversation.
Unfortunately, Rob didn't realise he couldn't be heard by the viewers at home and continued to try to chat with Matt.

The presenter was forced to tell him: "Hold that thought for a sec, I'm just going to walk you through the mariniere (sauce),' in an attempt to stop Rob from trying to speak."
He then explained to his guest: "Sorry we've lost your mic for now."
Ever the pro, Matt then joked as he carried on: "So I'm going to carry on talking, let's look at me, I'll keep talking while we change Rob's mic, nobody look that way."
However, the camera did pan in Rob's direction to reveal a crew member who had ran onto the set to swap his microphone on the lapel of his shirt.
