Emmerdale’s selfish cheater Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) has paid the ultimate price for her hotel room trysts with lover Al Champman (Michael Wildman) – she has missed the final moments of her mum Faith (Sally Dexter) as she died.
Faith bought Chas a luxurious spa night at a resort and, of course, Chas’ first thought was how to get Al in there with her.
Stay classy, you two.
An emotional Faith held Chas close, thanking her for the perfect day yesterday and telling her that she loves her.
Chas was oblivious – like everyone else – that Faith intended to take her own life.
But, after saying secretive final farewells, Faith took actions to take control of her death.

Cain (Jeff Hordley) got home before she died, and held her in his arms to the end.
But Paddy (Dominic Brunt) found all of his many calls to his wife missed. She was too busy in a hot tub with Al, after celebrating buying a house together.
Al had turned Chas’ phone to silent, telling her that the reason was to stop her working.
No-one likes being interrupted by a brewery when conducting an extra marital affair after all.
But when Chas clocked the missed calls, she was horrified at what Al had done and rushed out.
But she was much too late. As she was desperately travelling home, Faith had already died as Cain was telling her he was sorry for how he had acted towards her, before reflecting on their perfect day at the seaside.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the house and Chas is bound to be absolutely crushed to have missed Faith’s final moment.
Can she ever forgive herself – and Al?
Will Al’s plans of whisking her away for a new life together be dashed as Chas gets the worst possible wake up call?
