Selling Sunset star not called back after giving birth and co-star devastated

Selling Sunset: Season 6 official Netflix trailer

Since season six of Selling Sunset aired earlier this year, fans have been excited to see what will happen next on the hit reality show.

But it looks like one of the original cast members will have a much smaller role in season seven.

The latest agent to join the Oppenheim Group, Bre Tiesi, has shared her sadness that her work bestie, Heather Rae El Moussa, may potentially only have a limited role in upcoming episodes of the Netflix show.

Speaking to E! News, Bre revealed: “I absolutely adore Heather. I’m very sad to hear that she is not going to be as big a part.”

While Netflix have not made a statement yet about Heather’s involvement in any upcoming seasons, Bre outlined that: “They kinda keep us separate from all of that.”

The two real estate agents and co-stars shared a bond in season six as Heather prepared to welcome her first child and Bre joined soon after giving birth to her son, Legendary Love, with Nick Cannon. They also supported one another amidst some of the drama in the office.

Bre’s response comes after Heather claimed that she had not been called back to film ever since she gave birth to her son, Tristan, in January of this year.

Heather, who has appeared in every season of the real estate reality show up until now, did film some scenes for season seven before going on maternity leave.

Back in March of this year, Heather divulged: “Season 7 is filming right now, but I’ve been off maternity leave and I’ve been excited to get back to work and so far I have not been called back. It’s been a little frustrating. So [I’m] not sure what’s been going on.”

Since Bre had previously admitted to spending all of her time with Heather when they filmed season six, she had to mingle with more of the cast once Heather went on maternity leave.

It “obviously puts you in a position to be with the other girls,” Bre confirmed. “I think it definitely transitioned my relationships.”

Some fans have speculated whether or not Heather’s snub could be because she has filmed another show for a separate TV network.

Heather and her husband, fellow reality star Tarek El Moussa, have their own property series on HGTV in the US, called The Flipping El Moussas. So, could this be a conflict of interest?

Fans will need to tune in when season seven hits screens to see exactly how much involvement Heather will have.

Seasons 1-6 of Selling Sunset are available to stream on Netflix.
