AMANDA Holden leaves Simon Cowell stunned as she tells him to make a band – with dogs.
In scenes set to air tonight, the 52-year-old comes up with the idea after a day of auditions and is convinced it could be the new One Direction.
Amanda says: “That gave me an idea, why don't we try now and assemble, like, a dog band.”
An amused Simon asks her: “So, like, what we did with One Direction, you want to do with dogs?”
Over the years BGT has seen a number of dog acts including winners Ashley and her dog Pudsey in 2012.
One Direction – made up of Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan – won X Factor in 2010.

Elsewhere in the episode, viewers will watch as Amanda dances to Ant and Dec's classic song, Let's Get Ready To Rhumble.
The Heart Radio host is seen standing in the theatre wings at the auditions, with Ant and Dec excitedly telling Amanda and her fellow judges they had sorted some new music for them to walk on stage to.
Ant told them: 'You know you said you're sick of your walk-on music? We've sorted it!"
They then started playing their hit 1994 song Let's get Ready To Rhumble, much to the audience's glee.

Amanda got in on the fun, and at one point she grabbed hold of her ankle and lifted her leg in the air as she danced to the music in a pair of heels.
But what really sent the audience wild was how her sexy red dress, which was slashed to the top of the thigh, showed off her incredible legs.
Amanda is known for her risqué outfits, and yesterday was seen slipping into a skintight red latex dress.
