TLC’s hit reality drama Sister Wives lifts the lid on the lives of a progressive polygamist family. However, following Kody’s recent divorces from his three wives, the star has claimed to be monogamous and therefore spoiled the upcoming storyline.
Sister Wives first premiered in 2010 and followed the lives of Kody Brown, his then-wives Janelle, Christine, Meri and their 18 children.
Following the recent season 17 finale, viewers have been eagerly awaiting a renewal announcement from TLC.
Ahead of the show’s return, Kody Brown dropped a major spoiler which hinted at a major turn of events for the family.
Kody let the spoiler slip during a Cameo he recorded for a fan, which was then uploaded to TikTok.
During the video, the reality star was seated in his truck where he congratulated a viewer on their one-year anniversary.
After speaking on the fan’s career in television, Kody stated: “I’m only seen by the public, what I see as a caricature of myself.”
He admitted: “It doesn’t feel like it’s really me.”
As he addressed the fan’s marriage, Kody revealed: “I won’t be having any more wives, Robyn and I are basically monogamous.”
Realising his error, the 54-year-old added: “Don’t let that out yet, it’s probably a spoiler, but it seems obvious with the new season coming.
“But you guys could always be in a poly marriage, you could always be a sister wife, you’ve got to talk your man into that.”
Kody chucked: “I’m not sure that’s a good idea, I don’t have any recommendations on that.”
He then signed off by wishing the fan, “lots of peace” and “lots of love.”

Throughout season 17, fans have witnessed how Kody has failed to maintain a healthy polyamorous relationship with his three wives.
Christine and Kody announced their break-up in 2021 after being together for 25 years. However, Christine has since found romance with David Wooley, who she occasionally posts on Instagram.
In 2022, the US Sun reported Janelle and Kody’s split after 29 years of marriage and detailed her devotion to her new weight loss business.
Just days after this announcement, it was confirmed Kody and his first wife Meri had also parted ways after 32 years together.
Meri confirmed the separation during a Sister Wives: One-to-One special.
She shared: “It’s an end of something that we had had, in a way, for 24-and-a-half years.
“But at the same time, I know it’s not, because I have eternity with him; I have eternity with the family. I know it’s not the end.”
