SKY NEWS has announced a major schedule shake up – with a beloved weekend show axed.
The rolling news channel has culled Sophy Ridge on Sunday after six years on screens.
Presented by journalist Sophy Ridge, the show featured politicians and journalists who discussed the week's political developments.
Announcing the end of the show, the host said: "I can’t quite believe it but this week is the final ever Sophy Ridge on Sunday.
"The last six years have been an absolute privilege. Thank you to everyone who has watched and made it part of your Sunday routine.
"It’s something I have never taken for granted."

Sophy isn't leaving Sky News and will be back later this year with a new nightly show that has yet to be announced.
While Sophy, 38, was on maternity leave in 2021, Sir Trevor Phillips stepped in to present the series.
Sophy Ridge on Sunday replaced retired journalist Dermot Murnaghan's political show back in 2016.
The latest shake up comes as Sky News recently revealed it had overhauled its daytime TV schedule.
