Samson Dingle (Sam Hall) was thrown out of the Dingle household in Wednesday’s (March 29) edition of Emmerdale after his plan to blackmail Noah (Jack Downham) was revealed.
After learning that Noah had come into some money, Samson took huge advantage and told him that he would stay well away from Esther and Amelia (Daisy Campbell) if Noah gave him instalments of cash.
Because this has been happening over the course of a few months, Noah has now lost all the money that he originally was going to turn into an inheritance fund for the baby.
Samson’s plan was revealed this week, after Noah told Charity (Emma Atkins) how he had managed to lose the cash so quickly.
And in true soap form, it wasn’t long until the blackmailing had reached multiple people in the village.
As Amelia and Noah made their way to confront Samson, Charity and Sam (James Hooton) were also approaching.
Despite his dad’s disappointed and horrified tone, Samson didn’t care that he had created more problems for his family.
Moments before the credits rolled, Sam confronted Samson outside the Dingle household.
Sam struggled to get through to his son, who called his dad a ‘joke’ because he had previously resulted in stealing in order to pay for some nappies for Esther.
Sam was disgusted at Samson’s attitude and told him that he wasn’t welcome at his home anymore.
A vile Samson announced that he’d find somewhere else to live and threw his keys on the floor.
Given that Samson has now broken the Dingle Code (again), he’s going to struggle to find another family member that will take him in, so what does his future look like now?
