A few weeks ago, Peter Beale (Dayle Hudson) discovered Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) was responsible for his attack in EastEnders.
Peter was – understandably – furious but hasn’t gone to the police to reveal the truth…yet.
With the police still investigating the attack, an officer tells Peter, Rocky (Brian Conley) and Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) that they’re not having much luck with finding the person responsible.
Kathy tries to make things up to Peter, but when she rushes off to support Ben after an incident with Callum (Tony Clay), poor Peter feels his gran doesn’t love him as much.
The next day, Kathy is at her wits end with Ben and Peter’s constant bickering and decides to organise a games night for Rocky’s birthday, insisting they must both be there.
During the party, things quickly descend into chaos and the police arrive to arrest Ben, allowing Kathy to conclude Peter has reported him for the assault.
At the station, Ritchie warns Ben that things are bad, and he could be sent down – but is this hinting at another exit?
Or can someone free Ben from life behind bars?
