Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) continues to struggle with his post-natal depression in EastEnders, which leads to him ignoring baby Roland when he starts crying.
Stuart recently expressed his feelings to Rainie (Tanya Franks) about their new son, admitting he would rather return baby Roland to Bernie (Clair Norris) than continue looking after him.
For Rainie, who’s yet to realise Stuart has PND, she’s finding it difficult to understand her husband and told him the feelings he has towards Roland will soon go away.
Coming up, Stuart reluctantly agrees to look after Roland for the day and takes him to the café.
However, when he ignores Roland’s cries, Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) steps in and soon realises something is wrong.
Paying a visit to Stuart, Sonia listens in as he reveals he doesn’t feel anything towards Roland.
Thinking his change in emotions is down to recovering from breast cancer, Sonia gives him the details of a cancer mental health support group – but will Stuart seek help?
Could baby Roland end up being returned to Bernie if no one tells Stuart he has post-natal depression?
