Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) is fearing she may have killed Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) in EastEnders after last night’s car crash.
The enemies ended up in the same car together as Janine decided to rescue Linda, who had broken down at the side of the road.
Linda was also drunk when Janine found her, so sat in the passenger seat as Janine drove her and Annie home.
Driving along, topic of conversation soon turned to Mick (Danny Dyer).
With Linda refusing to let Mick go, an angry Janine failed to spot she had drifted onto the wrong side of the road as she was far too focused on her argument.
Swerving to avoid a lorry, Janine crashed her car into a tree.
Tonight, Janine woke from her unconscious state and immediately set about trying to free Linda.
Janine grabbed Linda’s wrist to check her pulse but couldn’t find anything.
Horrified, Janine got out of the car and dragged Linda into the driver’s seat.
When a passer-by arrived, Janine made out she was just a random member of the public and set off to find her dog.
As Janine returned to Walford, she switched on the lies and decided she and Scarlett needed to leave right away.
In a taxi, Janine received a call from Mick, who was already at the hospital.
Mick informed her that Linda is now in an induced coma after being in a car crash, and there is a chance she might not survive.
Janine was stunned and desperately tried to keep her emotions in check, but what will she do if Linda doesn’t make it out of this alive?
