Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash whisk kids away on luxury first family holiday abroad after birth of baby Belle | The Sun

STACEY Solomon and Joe Swash have whisked their brood abroad for a luxury Easter holiday in Abu Dhabi.

The couple and their kids looked incredibly excited as they posed for pictures both before they took off and once they had landed in the United Arab Emirates.

Stacey, 33, had mentioned their holiday on Instagram in the lead up, before teasing a shot of seven passports on Friday.

She told her followers: "How it started…"

The Loose Women star, who gave birth to fifth child Belle in February, then shared a series of fun snaps following their arrival in Abu Dhabi.

One shot shows the Solomon-Swash clan dressed in their comfy clothes at Heathrow Airport.

Joe, 41, is proudly lifting one-year-old Rose into the air as she held onto three-year-old son Rex's hand and cradled Belle in her other arm.

Stacey's two eldest children, sons Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 10, are also smiling in the photograph.

Another picture shows Rex sat on the captain's knee in the cockpit of their aeroplane. The youngster looks thrilled to be there.

Finally, Stacey has posted a snap of her squad at Abu Dhabi airport, albeit slightly more dishevelled.

Writing to her fans, the mum-of-five shared her relief at how well her children had behaved during the seven-hour flight.

She said: "Here We Go ✈️ Off on our very first adventure together… Rose & Belle's first plane ride and ours as a family since before covid when Rex was a few months old.

"We are all so excited to make some special memories. I think I was most nervous about the journey there but we’ve made it safe & sound and still sane 😂."

Thanking the fellow holidaymakers and airline staff, Stacey continued: "A massive thank you to the lovely passengers who were so chatty & sweet to us & the kids and also thank you to kindest air stewards who played with Rex & Rose so nicely & made them feel so comfortable.

"@etihad you have the most amazing staff and captain Rexy can’t wait to fly us home."

Stacey's fanbase has gone wild for her new pictures, with her BBF Sophie Hinchliffe – aka Mrs Hinch – writing: "SO exciting!!! Have the most incredible time making the most magical memories 🌊 ☀️ love you all xx."

The star's sister Jemma also penned: "We love and miss you all so much but are so glad you are having this special time together."

Another follower added: "Keep posting Stacey, Abu Dhabi is The Most Amazing City I've ever been to, the kids will really enjoy it."

Prior to jetting off, Stacey had shared her immaculate packing hacks with her Instagram followers. She had also left them in hysterics after posting a video of her hilarious wardrobe malfunction ahead of their trip.

Until the family landed in the UAE, Stacey had kept the destination quiet but did previously admit it had been a fairly last minute choice.

Earlier this month, she said: "So last night we finally chose where to go on holiday and booked somewhere.

"We, all together, haven’t been on an airplane since our last family holiday in 2019 – four years ago.

"I’m sooo excited! It’ll be Rose and Belle’s first ever plane ride and Rex wouldn’t remember the last time we took him when he was five months.”

But Stacey did add: "Lots of you asking if it is daunting the thought of taking them all away.

"Yes definitely but I feel like now's the best time before Belle is running around and Joe and me are running around the three little ones and they outnumber us."
