Steph McGovern opened up about a major TV lie she made in an attempt to “blag” her way into a career on the silver screen.
During Friday’s visit to the Channel 4 studio, the 40-year-old blonde bombshell welcomed viewers back onto the show alongside guests Alan Johnson, Theo Michaels and Marcus Brigstocke.
The mum-of-one opened the jam-packed show by discussing some of the biggest fibs people have put on their CVs.
As the TV presenter listened to all the cheeky lies members of the live audience shared during the hour-long programme, she couldn’t help but expose one of her own cheeky fibs on air.
But it’s fair to say viewers were left gobsmacked after she revealed how she had lied her way into a TV career.
The TV host admitted: “I blagged my way onto TV. I said [to her boss] I'd presented TV in the past when actually I hadn’t even worked on TV before.”
