STRANGER Things fans are convinced they have spotted sadistic serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer in the background of an episode.
Following the release of new true crime drama Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, Netflix viewers think they’ve seen Dahmer in a scene featuring Max Mayfield.
Dahmer, portrayed by American Horror Story star Evan Peters in the series, was convicted of brutally killing 17 victims, all male, between the years of 1978 and 1991.
Following his capture by police, he was eventually imprisoned in 1992, and, once in prison, died at the age of 34 after being beaten to death by another inmate.
Stranger Things season 4, meanwhile, set in the fictional town Hawkins, Indiana, takes place in the mid-1980s, when Dahmer would have been around 25-years-old.
But that hasn’t stopped fans thinking he’s featured in the background of an episode, after seeing someone who looks almost like him.
