Adam Thomas jokingly warned his wife to "stay away" from his co-star Bobby Brazier during Strictly Come Dancing's live show on Saturday (October 21).
The 35-year-old Emmerdale star had just finished his street dance routine to Backstreet Boys' hit Everybody with show pro Luba Mushtuk when he halted the show and told his wife, who was sat in the audience, not to move in on handsome Bobby. He even joked it was the only reason she'd turned up to the studio to support him.
Host Claudia Winkleman said: "Your wife Caroline is in the audience. You've described her as your absolute rock. She was watching you going 'There he is!'." Adam was feeling cheeky as he quipped: "I know, I can't get rid of her!"

He went on: "Honestly! The only reason she's here is because of Bobby, really. I know what you're up to, baby!". The soap star burst out laughing as he added: "Stay off him, he's mine, okay!".
On a more serious note, he praised Caroline for being his "rock". He said: "But nah, I'm really happy. She's my rock and having her in the audience tonight. She just makes me feel ten feet tall, man, she really does. It's amazing, man, what a night."
Adam and Luba managed to score 32 points for their routine, which put them just above the middle of the leaderboard. It was an emotional performance for Adam as it was dedicated to his brothers Ryan and Scott, who were there for him when their dad died.
Head judge Shirley Ballas was impressed. She told the pair: "I thought your story was lovely with your family. It was cool, it had attitude." Anton added: "It was your best dance of the series so far."
Motsi Mabuse agreed, saying: "Best dance from you that we have seen so far." Even Craig was pleased, adding: "The energy and attitude was fantastic, you did your brothers proud."
Adam's dad Dougie died unexpectedly at the age of 72 in December 2020. Tragically, the actor tried to save his dad's life before losing him.
Speaking to his brothers Ryan and Scott about the moment on their Mancs On The Mic podcast, Adam said: "I remember just thinking ‘wow, this is just not how I expected it to go’. I’m crying my eyes out going ‘come on, dad’. I’m jumping up and down on my dad, trying to save him…"
