Former EastEnders star Nigel Harman will join Strictly Come Dancing
EastEnders star Nigel Harman has revealed his co-star Letitia Dean once “screamed at him” as they filmed an intense scene before he left the BBC soap.
Nigel starred as Dennis Rickman from 2003 to 2005 before his character was murdered in front of his wife Sharon Watts (played by Letitia Dean).
In a recent interview, Nigel revealed how he and Letitia had filmed the brutal scene as he died after being stabbed.
Appearing on Loose Women in 2022, Nigel admitted he had been “giggling” as the dramatic clip was shown.
“Yeah, I was giggling,” he admitted when Coleen Nolan asked if it had been him finding the scene amusing.

“It was a Saturday, I’d wrapped on a Saturday and then they said, ‘Oh, we need to go and reshoot the ending.’
“So me and Tish went up there… no one there. Nobody around us, no drama, nothing.
“And she just had to scream at me while I died. And I’d completely forgotten until I saw that.”
Similarly, Nigel admitted in a separate interview that he doesn’t remember much about his EastEnders storylines.
Speaking on This Morning earlier this year, he confessed: “People come up to me in the streets and want to discuss a storyline that I don’t even remember being present at.”
Nigel was recently confirmed to be one of the famous faces taking part in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
“I’m amazed, excited, and terrified to be doing Strictly,” he shared after the announcement.
Strictly Come Dancing is set to return to BBC One on September 16.
