Zara McDemott has opened up about her Strictly Come Dancing experience so far and has revealed she "feels bad" every week.
The reality star is the first Love Island contestant to take part in the BBC competition and has been wowing viewers and the judges with her moves on the dancefloor. She has been paired with Graziano Di Prima and the pair both walked the red carpet together at Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain awards.
She looked sensation in a form-fitting white gown with a thigh-high split for the start-studded awards ceremony. The dress also featured a glittery mesh corset that added to the final ethereal look.
Speaking to Daily Star at the glitzy event on Sunday (October 8), Zara said: "When I signed up for Strictly it was completely out of my comfort zone. It’s something brand new that I have never done . It’s been confidence building like learning a new language. There’s a lot of work that goes into it.

"In Strictly we’re in our own little bubble and set our own goals I just focus on doing my best each week. The spirit is really good, but every week you feel a bit bad because you’re so close and everyone roots for everyone else. It’s a competition but it doesn’t feel like that sometimes because you just want everyone else to do really well. It’s like a family.
Zara recently shared that she currently has 11-hour days with her Strictly pro partner Graziano and that this means she is missing time with boyfriend Sam Thompson, who is a Radio DJ and hosts an evening show on Hits Radio. Zara has said that with Sam not around when she gets home, she is practising her steps with their cats Albus and Cedric.
Speaking about her intense schedule, Zara previously said: "We did 11 hours last week, 8-7pm and we really didn't stop. Sam does his radio show every evening so when I come home from training, he's at work so I rehearse on my own or use one of the cats."
Zara has been predicted to be the winner of the newest series of the show. Body language experts have been looking for signs to see who has the strongest connect and in turn, could be potential victors. Zara and Graziano have since been determined to have the most genuine relationship of the partners on launch night.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Bingo, body language expert Darren Stanton said the pair could go far in the competition. He explained that the pair are already showing tell-tale signs they trust each other.
"Zara and Graziano have a great rapport with lots of reciprocal liking and tactile moments throughout rehearsals and during the routine. It's clear Zara has a lot of confidence and trust in Graziano through her authentic smiles and their friendly connection," Darren said.
"They gave each other lovely signals of pride and reassurance during the routine. There's a lot of respect between them. I think they could go on to be potential winners of the competition."
Strictly Come Dancing airs weekends on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
