The WICT Network, an association serving women in media, is honoring four execs at the upcoming Leadership Excellent Awards (LEA).
Tara Duncan, President of Disney’s Onyx Collective, Wendy McMahon, President of CBS News & Stations and CBS Media Ventures, Cox Communications’ Kia Painter and Beatrice Springborn, President, UCP and Universal International Studios are to be feted at the event at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Friday November 3.
It is part of the SoCal Chapter of WICT.
It marks the first time that the awards have been held since 2019, before the pandemic.
The annual LEA awards honor four, high level, female, industry leaders who have shown incredible advocacy and mentorship throughout their impressive career.

We are proud to honor these extraordinary trailblazers” said Jennifer Miles, President of The WICT Network: Southern California. “Beatrice, Wendy, Tara and Kia have proven themselves as crucial leaders, coaches, and mentors to our strong community of women in entertainment. To award these super women with a LEA is an honor and a privilege.”
