Ten Pound Poms is coming to BBC One and the historical drama is set in Britain in 1956.
For just £10, the Roberts family has been promised a better quality of life in sunny Australia.
However, life down under is not exactly what has been sold to them and they struggle with their new identities.
The Roberts family are not the only people at the hostel who are trying to run away from the truth.

The series follows Annie (played by Faye Marsay) and her husband Terry Roberts (Warren Brown) as they try to make the best of the situation for their family.
However, the dire living conditions at the Australian hostel and local attitudes towards immigrants start to test them.
Elsewhere, young nurse Kate arrives without her fiancé, determined to rewrite her devastating past.

Meanwhile Bill (Leon Ford) has lost his family business back home and is desperate to prove he’s living the Australian dream.
Little does he realise, he will never be able to sustain such a lifestyle and remains in denial.
The series is made up of six episodes, which are all an hour long airing from 9pm until 10pm.
The episodes will air weekly on Sundays, meaning the finale should air on June 18.
If viewers are unable to watch the episodes live, they will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
Elsewhere in the series, Teenager Stevie (Declan Coyle) comes from a troubled background and hopes to escape his oppressive father.
Finally, Ron (Rob Collins), an indigenous Australian war veteran, struggles with feeling like an outsider in his own country.
