The Bold Type trailer released by Freeform
It’s been a few years since The Bold Type came to the end of its run on Freeform in the US, but the stars of the show are just as close as ever, as highlighted in a recent Instagram post.
Katie Stevens, who played Jane Sloan on the show about the fictional women’s magazine Scarlet, welcomed her first child with husband Paul DiGiovanni, earlier this year.
And the actress has taken to social media to share some snaps of her adorable daughter Rome.
In a recent carousel of photographs shared to her Instagram feed, Katie reunited with her The Bold Type co-stars as they appeared to meet her daughter for the first time.
In the caption, Katie wrote: “my bbs met my baby” alongside a pink heart emoji. (sic)
Katie’s The Bold Type co-stars, Aisha Dee who played Kat Edison, and Meghann Fahy who played Sutton Brady, are seen tenderly playing with and even feeding Rome a bottle.
The actors don’t just play best friends on the show, they have remained close ever since they met right before the pilot episode was shot.
When speaking to PEOPLE back in 2021, Katie outlined: “I don’t think that there will ever be another experience that I have in my career [like this].”

She added: “We were like, ‘We’re going to be like [Friends stars] Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow.
“‘We’re going to be friends forever!’” And that appears to be the case.
In the years since The Bold Type’s cancellation Katie has appeared in episodes of Fantasy Island and CSI: Vegas, while Aisha starred in Netflix’s Look Both Ways and Meghann was one of the breakout stars of the second season of The White Lotus.

UK fans of The Bold Type will also be happy to know that the fifth and final season of the comedy-drama is now available to stream. Even though the show ended in 2021, the final season had not found a UK broadcaster until now. But the six-part fifth season can be viewed on BBC iPlayer, alongside the first four seasons.
The final batch of episodes will tie up storylines like whether or not Sutton and her husband Richard (Sam Page) will get back together, as well as what will happen for both Jane and Kat when it comes to their careers at Scarlet. Whichever way it ends, it will be bittersweet for fans, that’s for sure.
