THE Chase fans were left furious as many thought the four contestants had ruined their chance to win the jackpot during the final.
During Monday evening's instalment of the ITV gameshow, host Bradley Walsh saw a team of four attempt to win a life-changing sum of money.
Harry, Stuart, Sarah and Erica all teamed together and took on Anne Hegerty in a bid to win the money.
However, many viewers were left irritated by the four contestants who only managed to get 14 steps ahead of Anne, dubbing their round "abysmal".
Up first was contestant Harry who impressed Bradley with his hobby of ancestry, dating back to the 17th century.
When discussing what he would like to do with the money, he explained he would love to take his family to Australia and follow in the footsteps of his ancestors.

During his cash builder round, Harry banked an impressive £6,000, with Anne offering a low offer of £600 and a high offer of £26,000.
Harry flew through the round and made it back to the table.
Up next to take on Anne was Stuart, who banked a staggering £9,000 in his cash builder round and felt confident when going head-to-head with Anne.
He sailed through his round against Anne and joined Harry back at the bench, ready for the final.
Sarah was third to take on Anne and only managed to bank £3,000, however, Bradley admitted that the questions she was dealt were "tough".
She narrowly managed to make it through the round admitting a lot of her answers were guesses, but that didn't matter as she made it through to the final.
Last up was Erica, who impressed herself when Bradley informed her she had managed to bank £7,000 in her cash builder.
Erica decided to go for the original £7,000 but scraped her way into the final after guessing the last question.
As the team began 14 steps ahead of Anne, it proved to be no match for The Governess as she managed to catch them, taking the £25,000 from them with 22 seconds to spare.
Viewers were let down by the contestant's efforts, with one tweeting: "Worst full house performance ever."
